Carotid Aneurysm Registry (CAR)
A dilatation of the extracranial carotid artery is commonly abbreviated as ECAA (extracranial carotid artery aneurysm). Information regarding the incidence and treatment strategies of this rare disease can be found on this website. You can also find information about our Carotid Aneurysm Registry (CAR). In this registry, data are collected and registered for patients with ECAA. This project has been initiated by a research team of health professionals from the University Medical Center Utrecht.
